Come taste & learn about the evolution of the Sonoma Coast from the perspective of some of the regions most established wineries and newcomers to the area in this interactive winemaker session as we explore the existing and pending AVAs. We’ll taste the most well-known grapes & some rising stars.

This session is ideal for those working in the Sonoma wine trade who want to learn how to talk to guests with more regional awareness and consider new growing and production ideas for the future.

This in-person trade event at Inn at Occidental will be hosted by Master Sommelier and Founder of San Francisco Wine School, David Glancy. David is one of only 12 people in the world to hold both the revered Master Sommelier Diploma and the rigorous Certified Wine Educator credential. The seated tasting and seminar is included in San Francisco Wine School’s Sonoma Coast Road Trip, but is the only portion that is open to the wider Sonoma wine community.
