The Inn at Occidental presents SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT THE OX with CADY & MURPHY, HARDLY STRICTLY IRISH, playing lovely, lively traditional Irish tunes and sing great songs from a variety of genres on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bodhrán.

As the weather gets nice in May we are moving live music at the OX Wine Bar to Saturday Afternoons from 4:00-6:00pm.

ABOUT CADY & MURPHY, HARDLY STRICTLY IRISH

Suzuki Cady is a popular fiddle player, singer, and percussionist based in Sebastopol, CA. She co-founded Irish bands New Wild Hog and The Pure Drops, and has worked in numerous musical projects. Cady composes tunes and teaches an Irish Music for All Instruments Class in Sebastopol, CA.

Her sense of rhythm is informed by a lifetime of dance training. She has an extensive background in Flamenco, Afro-Brazilian, West African, Congolese, and rollerskate dancing. She is currently dipping her toes into the world of Sean-nós (Irish old-style) dance.

Jimmy Murphy, singer, guitarist, and mandolinist extraordinaire, has been a cornerstone of the traditional Irish music scene in California for over two decades. Jimmy is a member of New Wild Hog band, among other projects.
