The Inn at Occidental welcomes the Secret Song Club to the OX WINE BAR on the 2nd Saturday of each month. September 12th we are excited to feature Sarah Larkin.

During the summer months we are moving Secret Song Club to Saturday Afternoons from 4:00-6:00pm.

ABOUT SARAH LARKIN

Sarah ‘Songbird’ Larkin is a lifelong musician. She grew up harmony singing with her family, onstage as young as age 3, and performed her way through school in choral ensembles, show choirs, and in musical theater productions. She began hobby songwriting in college and later began writing more seriously.

She has shared the stage with award winning performers and ensembles including Pete Seeger, Keller Williams, AJ Lee, Red Molly, and The California Honeydrops. As co-founder of The Real Sarahs, in 2013, she has performed at festivals, house concerts and venues throughout the Western U.S., British Columbia, the UK and helped co-produce and release 4 albums of original material – most recently with award winning guitarist Alex de Grassi.

As a songwriter, Sarah seeks to convey the nuance of the human experience with a witty, wise and lyric grace that is both organic and refined. Her written perspective coupled with her strong yet vulnerable singing style, has captured audiences throughout her life and she delights in the shared experience of audience and performer.

ABOUT SECRET SONG CLUB

Welcome to Secret Song Club! We organize music parties, house concerts, and open mics in backyards and living rooms throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We’re all about creating listening spaces where people can hear music with less background chatter. You don’t have to be a songwriter or a musician to attend. Everyone is welcome. All donations go to the featured performers or the charities at our benefit events. The only part of the club that’s secret is the location.
